Rapyd Cloud at WordCamp Asia 2025
In February 2025, we traveled to Manila for WordCamp Asia, the largest WordPress event in the Asia-Pacific region. As an event sponsor, many of our team leaders came out (Fleet included) to connect with the WordPress community, meet customers face-to-face, and share what we've been building.

Our Team on the Ground
WordCamp Asia was a team effort. Co-founders Michael Eisenwasser and Tom Cheddadi were at the booth alongside CTO Wes Tatters. We spent three days talking with developers, agency owners, and site builders about what makes managed WordPress hosting actually work for high-traffic, dynamic sites.
Our booth featured live product walkthroughs, on-the-spot free trials, and one-on-one conversations about page speed, scalability, and the infrastructure behind Rapyd Cloud. We also got to meet quite a few existing customers in person for the first time, which was a highlight for everyone on the team.
Fleet Steals the Show
Our mascot Fleet made the trip to Manila and was easily the most photographed member of the team. Between the booth and the conference floor, Fleet was everywhere.
