The backup download link generation process can take some time, so we’ve made it possible to start the process right from the backup creation modal.
What’s New?
We’ve added the option to begin the backup download link generation process immediately when you create a new backup.
Previously, you had to create the site backup, then generate the download link. Each of these steps required you to interact with the dashboard. The problem was that both steps can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. So, if you wanted to download a backup, you had to just hang around and wait for the backup to finish, then click “Download backup” to begin creating the download link.
This improvement means that you can simply check the box before creating your backup, then our system will take care of the rest. You can go enjoy a coffee and you’ll be notified when the download link is ready.
