File Management Just Got Easier: Introducing Duplicate & Move in Your Dashboard

We’ve made significant enhancements to the dashboard file manager designed to streamline your workflows and boost productivity.

What’s New?

Duplicate Files and Folders

You can now quickly duplicate files right in the Rapyd file manager. This feature accelerates troubleshooting without requiring FTP clients. Duplicated files receive a “-1” suffix appended to their names.

Move Files and Folders

The file manager now enables moving files and folders throughout the file tree structure. This works especially well alongside the duplication feature, giving you full control over your site’s file organization.

How It Works

The file manager enhancement is located in the Settings section of the left-hand menu. To use these features:

1. Navigate to the file manager in Settings
2. Click the three-dot menu icon next to a file or directory name
3. Select either “Duplicate” or “Move” from the action menu
4. Complete your desired action
